Two Romanian female fire fighters have won the World Police and Fire Games competition that gathers every year over 5,000 police officers from all over the world.
The athletes compete in around 67 sports and have to go through 40 rounds. Adriana Paraschiv and Daniela Soare from ISU Banat have won the canoe and the athletics competition. According to digi tv, the two fire fighters went to the competition very determined to win, even though they knew they had to compete with the best police officers and firefighters in the world, including FBI agents. Daniela Soare has been a firefighter for over 10 years and trained every day for the competition. Before the World Games started she got a foot injury but she decided to compete anyway. Her determination brought her a gold medal.
