A family from Dobreni, Neamt county, went through a tragedy this January when their house burnt down and since then the parents, grandchildren and their four children( aged 2 to 12) were left homeless. Now the family lives in a small kitchen that was not affected by the fire.
The young people from the “Elena Doamna” Services complex in Piatra Neamt were saddened by the event and decided to help the family. For two weeks they collected clothes and toys, sweets, detergents, cosmetics and went to Dobreni to donate them to the family. The teenagers, who are now studying to become chefs, have also prepared trays with cakes.
According to agerpres.ro, Cristina Pavaluta, the director of the Social assistance direction for the protection of children of Neamt county said ” These children gave us a life lesson, a real proof of empathy and generosity.”
