Cluj-Napoca to host NASA International Space Apps Challenge

One of the largest hackatons in the world will be organised by NASA in many countries all over the world and for the first time Romania will also host one in Cluj-Napoca. NASA International Space Apps Challenge will take place between 23-24 April and for 48-72 hours people will work together to develop different projects, such as designing space gloves or developing a clean water mapping.

The hackaton is open to everyone, not only specialists in IT: beginners, students, engineers and even artists. The point of the hackaton is to solve problems by coming up with ideas through coding, data visualizations, hardware and design. The NASA Space Apps Challenge has six themes: Aeronautics, Space Station, Solar System, Technology, Earth and Journey to Mars.
