Razvan Friedmann Stoica is a talented and famous musician who was born in Romania but now lives in Netherlands. He was recognized internationally as one of the greatest violinists of his generation and received many international awards.
Razvan was born in 1986 in Romania in a family of musicians. He attended the Enescu conservatory in Bucharest and after graduating he continued his studies in Amsterdam at the Royal Conservatory. Since then he has performed on many international scenes including in Romania.
He has received many awards such as the Strad prize in Salzburg Strad competition, the Perosi competition in Tortona,Italy, the Olympic violin competition held in Romania, the Bolzano Duo competition and in 2013 he was awarded Best New Talent at the Euroradio New Talent competition in Slovakia.
Razvan Friedmann Stoica has played on many stages, in Amsterdam at the Royal Concertgebouw, in Italy at the Brescia Teatro San Barnaba and at the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genova,in Spain at the Palacio de Festivales and in Romania at the Cotroceni palace.
Razvan also sings often with his sister, Andreea. Together they formed a group called Duo Stoica and they have sang together on international stages, such as the Theatre des Champs Elysees in Paris. He has also formed his own orchestra called Camerata Stradivarius which has already performed in Spain and Germany.
The musician sings on three different violins- a Stradivarius, a baroque violin and one that belonged to Dmitri Badiarov.
