“Why me?” film to be screened at the EU parliament

Romanian movie ” Why me?” ( De ce eu?) will be screened at the European Parliament in Bruxelles tomorrow, 27th of April.

The viewers will be able to also have an off screen conversation about the movie with the actors that played the main roles. The movie tells the story of Cristian (played by Emilian Oprea) a young attorney who tries to fight corruption in Romania.

The movie, directed by the now famous Tudor Giurgiu ( who directed movies such as Love Sick, Cannibal,Of snails and men, and founder of the Transylvania film festival) focuses on a corruption case that surrounds Cristian’s colleague. The character founds out, while investigating, that many important people are involved in the corruption case and soon puts himself in real danger.
