Judo player Alex Bologa wins bronze medal at Paralympic games

The first victory for Romania at the Paralympics in Brazil was secured by Alex Bologa from Cluj. The sportsman has conquered the bronze medal at judo, 60 kg category. 

20 year old Bologa beat Henry Borges from Uruguay and lost to Makoto Hirose from Japan. Alex Bologa is blind and is the only Romanian judo player who qualified for the Paralympic games. According to the young man lost his sight when he was six year old because of a bug that her mother caught while she was pregnant.

Alex Bologa is currently studying at two universities- Special Psychopedagogy and Kinetotherapy.
