South Korea and Romania will work together in a few IT projects over the next three years. South Korea has opened an information technology research center recently in Bucharest and agreed to a deal which brings together the South Korean Ministry of Science, ICT and the Future Planning and Romania’s Ministry of Communications and Information Society.

2 million dollars will be funded in these projects which will focus mainly on the development of broadband networks, infrastructure and online financial transactions. According to englishyonhapnews.co.kr the Southern Korean ministry has declared

“Through the establishment of the IT cooperation center in Romania, we hope the two countries will be able to forge deeper ties in the technology industry”.

The Korean ministry agreed that one of the fastest developing markets in IT can be found in Romania and that South Korean businesses can invest in Romania.
