American, Spanish and Russians dancing groups perform at World Folklore Festival in Romania

International folklore is celebrated these days (8-12 June) in Timisoara, Romania in the Park of Roses.

The 26th edition gathered dancing and singing folklore groups frorm Bulgaria, Columbia, Macedonia, Mexico, Moldavia, Georgia, Russia, Spain, Serbia, U.S.A., Turkey, Hungary and Romania. The festival started with performances from “Timis” folklore dancing group and folklore singers Nicoleta Voica, Petrica Moise, Andreea Voica, Carmen Popovici- Dumbrava, Dumitru Stoicanescu, Stana Stepanescu, Doriana Talpes, Maria Bortun Popescu, Ancuta Flesariu, Camelia Miutescu, Ramona Roescu and Cornel Brici.

On Friday several dancing groups, such as Vargovcan from Slovakia, Ballet Folklorico del Norte from Mexico, Esbart Marboleny from Spain and The Song and Dance Theater from Chicago U.S.A. will perfrom.
