Romanian students from Gheorghe Asachi university, from Iasi, Romania have built a car called Orange Devil. The car will participate in the “Formula Student” international competition held in Gyor, Hungary. The competition will be held between 20-23 August and is one of the most important events dedicated to students who build cars.
Ciprian Ciofu, professor at the Gheorghe Asachi Technical University said that participating in the competition is a real opportunity for the students to apply new technology and new materials and to demonstrate that their theory can be practical. The car that the students created is a Monopost that is faster than a Ferrari, Maserati Quatro Porte or a Porsche 911 GTS. The car reaches 100 km/hour in only 3.2 seconds.
The project has used special software such as ENOVIA and CATIA V5 with the support of CENIT.
