
Romanian female volleyball team CSM Bucharest has won the Challenge Cup on Sunday, beating Trabzon Idman Ocagi team from Turkey. The team beat Turkey with a score of 3-1.The team beat in semifinals also teams Bursa and Trabzon from Turkey.
The team, formed by Bacsis, Tataru, Ozun, Majstorovic, Rosca, Pincerato, Carbuneanu, Fales, Karakasheva, Pihlajamaki, Ruzzini, Susic was coached by Francois Salvagni from Italy.
The best player was Jasna Majstorovic who scored 19 points from CSM Bucharest and Roxana Bacsis who scored 14 points. This is considered a historic moment because this is the first time CSM Bucharest has won a European Cup.
