Romanian student to coordinate research of Nobel prize laureate

Elif Memet, from Constanta has just been chosen to coordinate a research with Joseph Stiglitz, recipient of the 2001 Nobel memorial prize in economics.

The young student who has graduated from the International highschool of informatics from Constanta, is currently a student at Colombia university with scholarship. Elif Memet speaks six foreign languages and was the youngest delegate for the Harvard Forum in 2013 and last year she was also invited at the White House as a result of winning an international essay competition. The essay focused on the theme of global poverty and offered solutions for the eradication of poverty.

Elif is also an ambassador for the Columbia college and is a member of the Columbia Energy Club, Columbia Financial Investment Group, Lion Fund and the youngest member of the Romanian-American business council.
