Romania to participate at European Fencing championships

18 sportsmen and 4 coaches  will participate at the  European Fencing championships in Plovdiv, Bulgaria between May 1-4. Romania has gained many medals in fencing in the past and it will be an interesting event to watch.

The sportsmen that participate are Maria Boldor (CSA Steaua), Mălina Călugăreanu (CSA Steaua), Ana Boldor (CSU Poli Timișoara), Anca Săveanu (CSA SteauaAmalia Tătăran (CS Dinamo), Greta Vereș (CSA Steaua), Claudia Naboiu (CSM Oradea), Ramona Calcan (CSA Steaua).

For the male category: Adrian Dabija (CS UNEFS), Ioan Constantinescu (CS UNEFS), Tatian Bolboceanu (CSU Craiova), Lucian Ciovică (CSU Craiova);  Mădălin Bucur (CS Dinamo), George Iancu (CSA Steaua), Dragoș Sîrbu (CS Dinamo), Sorin Eftimie (CS Dinamo); : Bogdan Dascălu (CSU Cluj Napoca), Benjamin Bodo (CSU Poli Timișoara).

Coaches are Petre Ducu, Petrica Ungureanu, George Epurescu and Florin Zalomir.
