The first library of legends in Romania opened this week in Sarmizegetusa, Hunedoara county. This library gathers a range of materials that focus on legends of the people in the Hateg country.
The visitors will also find clues in the books, clues that will lead them to different paths which are filled with surprises. The readers will be able to find out about different legends, such as the Retezat mountain legend, the Tapae battle legends, the Red prince of Britain, The battle of the Iron gate, The legend of Black Face and stories about the archaeological discoveries of Zsofia Toma, the first woman archaeolog of Transylvania.
The library can be found in the ” House of the Britain legends” legendarium, which is an exhibit space with legends set on panels.
