The first international animation workshop will be held in Bucharest between May 9-30.

Six animators will participate in the Animation Worksheep workshops. They have been selected from 60 participants from previous workshops, together with six Romanian animators, that have been selected by the team of the Anim’est International animation movie festival.

The participants will experiment with 2D drawing, stop motion, cut out, 2D digital and 3D. Professional animators such as Matei Branea, who created Planeta Moldova, Tudor Avramut who animated the Animat Planet Show and Bogdan Lazar, animator at the Golem studio, will share their experience and knowledge with the participants. The workshops will also have a special guest, Joe King, a British animator who has won many awards for his work, and known for the animation Audition.
