Over 14,000 people have participated on Sunday at an International semi marathon organized in Bucharest. Not only professionals participated, but also amateurs and even children. The longest route was of 21 kilometres, the individual route was 10 kilometres and the popular route was 3,6 kilometres.
The sports competition also was open to sports people with disabilities.
The first to cross the finish line was a runner from Kenia, who finished the longest route in one hour and two minutes. The second one to finish was a runner from Romania who arrived 4 minutes later.
The semimarathon has been organized in Bucharest for five years and it is also considered a charitable event.
