A baby bear was saved by rangers in a forest near Brasov. The bear was chased by a pack of dogs and ran in a forest. The rangers noticed that the baby bear was by itself for a few days in the Timisu de Sus area and was also sitting on the edge of a national road.
The bear was discovered at night in a tree, with a pack of dogs at its base. The rangers managed to chase the dogs away and a special intervention team came. The specialists tried to catch the bear without using tranquillizers but they were unsuccessful. In the end the bear was tranquillized and fell on a blanket held by rangers. The bear was transported to the Rehabilitation centre for orphaned baby animals at Balan Harghita.
