First hospital for animals without owners opened in Galati city, Romania.
The hospital was opened in March by Help Labus organization and until now they treated more than 300 dogs and cats. The hospital was helped by a foundation in Switzerland, that donated medicine and medical equipment. The hospital has treated many animals that were found ill on the streets. After treating them, they are monitored for a while and then, the activists are looking for people to adopt them. According to greatnews.ro , Livia Petre, the hospital veterinary physician stated:
” There have been diverse surgical interventions, but in this place we usually have injured animals and animals with infectious diseases”.
The hospital is opened 24/7 for emergencies.
