Prod village will be home to the Transylvania Horse Show this year, an international event that gathers 60 young competitors from different countries.
The event has three official competitions: the Complete International Competition, the Beginners and pre Beginners competition and the International University competition, dedicated to students. On Friday several stages of the competition started: the training stage, cross-country and jumping. Saturday and Sunday, 11 and 12 June the competitors will participate in the Cross-Country stage which means running and jumping over fences, bushes and ponds.
The event also includes horse acrobatics and a Derby on Sunday. There will also be horse demonstrations, acrobatic events for children, workshops, traditional food, etno rock concerts and pony rides.
