An unusual stilt houses holiday village was built in the Danube area, in Caras Severin county.
The village now has 15 houses and two pools, however houses are still being built. In the end, the village will have 30 stilt houses situated on the Clisure Dunarii, Berzasca. The project is called ” The right to Danube” and it is built with European funds by a private investor.
The village will have pools, restaurants, alleys, bike lanes and a touristic port and the electricity will be provided thanks to solar panels. The value of the project is 1,800,000 lei. The first 15 houses, a pool for adults and one for children were finished last year and now tourists are able to spend their holiday in the Danube area.
