Avram Iancu International Airport is set to be the first Romanian airport to have a free library. The library is open to all travellers and it is not limited to Romanian language.
It has a diverse collection of books in Romanian, English and French. The library has a capacity of 20 people and will also be used as a tourist information office. If the library will become popular, there are plans to extend it.
The library was open thanks to the Association Cluj-Napoca 2021- European Capital of Culture.
