Amazing 13 year old Ana Dascal to represent Romania at the Rio Summer Olympics

Ana Iulia Dascal is the youngest swimmer to compete for the Romanian team at the Rio Olympics. The swimmer from Cluj-Napoca has been coached by Edi and Beatrice Caslaru. She is only 13 years old.

Eduard Caslaru stated that it is a fantastic acheivement for her since they have been working together. The coach praised her for her hard work and progress. Ana Dascal was born in Cluj-Napoca on September 12, 2002 and her father is the president of the swimming section at the Cluj University. She has been training since last year in Constanta with coach Caslaru, but she will represent U Cluj club at Rio.

 

Ana will participate at the 100 metre competition. This year, she has won the 100 metres and 200 metres International Senior competitions in Romania and won the second place for the 50 metres one. Edi Caslaru noted that Rio will be a start for her before going to the Tokio competitions.

104 sportsment will represent Romania at the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, which will take place between 5-21 august.
