Romanian students have won several medals at the International Geography Olympiad in Serbia.
Students Omar Hamod, from Mihai Viteazu National College in Bucharest, won one gold medal, Iulia Armencea from Costache Negri National College in Galati won one silver medal, Victor Vescu from Lauder Reut educational complex won another silver medal and Ana Maria Cotun won a bronze one.
The competition had a written test, a practical test and a multimedia test. All tests were in English.
