Romania’s women’s table tennis team wins gold medals at European championship

The female table tennis team has won the gold medals at the European Youth table tennis championships in Zagreb.

The girls, coached by Petre Arnautu, managed to beat Serbia with 3-0. Romanian player Adina Diaconu has had very good scores, beating Izabela Lupulescku with 3-2 ( (6-11, 7-11, 14-12, 11-6, 11-3). Andreea Dragoman also has had a good game, beating Dragana Vignjevic with 3-0 ( 12-10,11-3,11-5). Finally, Andreea Clapa beat Tijana Jovik with 3-1 (11-6,3-11,11-8,11-2)

 

The junior teams and the cadet teams won the bronze medals.
