A woman was saved from drowning by three men on Monday. The men were in the area of Sasar river, in Baia Mare city, when they saw the woman floating in the water. They went fast and took her out of the water and helped by a SMURD team they managed to save her.
The three men swam in the river to grab the woman, they took her to the shore and then they called 112 for help. The SMURD team came and gave her first aid.
One of the men noted
” I saw a person in the middle of the river. I looked around to go down to the river and I heard some voices. There were two workers who helped get the victim out of the water. she was still alive”.
The police is currently investigating the case.
