Romanian students continue to impress the world. These days they have won four medals at the International Geography Olympiad.
Maria-Sabina Calisevici from Campulung Moldovenesc and Ioan-Adrian Toma, from Focsani, have won the gold medals. Radu Artiom, from Jean Monnet high school in Bucharest, has secured the silver medal and Sorina Avadanei, from the Calistrat Hogas national college, Piatra-Neamt has won the bronze medal.
The students have managed to beat 180 competitors from 47 countries. The competition took place in Beijing, China. Maria-Sabina Calisevici and Adrian Toma have previously won the National Geography Olympiad in April.
