Aquila birds are making a comeback in Romania as two baby Aquilas were spotted by researchers in Arad area.
The researchers from Milvus group in Targu Mures have together with the Satu Mare Agency for the protection of environment set a satellite transmitter for the monitorization and studying of field Aquilas and they have discovered a family of birds. This species of bird has disappeared 50 years ago from our country. The researchers noted that they have seen adult Aquilas for several years now but this is the first time they saw a nest. They have managed to put a satellite transmitter on one of the babies,

Because of agriculture, it is hard for them to find trees to nest.
