The National Theatre in Iasi has been chosen as one of the most beautiful theatres in the world. BBC has asked his viewers to vote for their most beloved theatres and their top seven most beautiful theatres include the Vasile Alecsandri theatre.
The top seven most favourite theatres are: the Bristol Hippodrome in Bristol, United Kingdom, the Iasi National Theatre,Iasi, Romania, Teatro Olimpico in Vincenzia, Italy, the Globe Theatre in London, Palais Gariner in Paris, the War Memorial Opera House in San Francisco, USA, Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Italy.
The Iasi National theatre was desgined by two architects from Vienna more than a hundred years ago. One of the most famous theatre directors include Romanian poet Costache Negruzzi, Vasile Alecsandri and Mihai Kogalniceanu.
