140 unique traditional costumes on exhibit at Iasi Palace of Culture

If you love the Romanian traditional blouse, the Iasi Palace of Culture is holding a special exhibit this weekend.

The exhibit is called ” Flowers of ie” and will open on January 20 at 6.00 p.m.  The event was organized on a special occasion- the anniversary of 158 years since the Romanian principalities united on January 1859.

The exhibit has travelled to London, Vienna, New York, Abu Dhabi and Shanghai and it promotes the national brand of ia. The exhibit promotes tradition, art and Romanian values.

Visitors will be able to see 150 unique traditional costumes with silk, cotton and even metallic embroidery.
