Romania’s women bobsled team wins bronze medal at the European championships

The women’s bobsled team has won the bronze medal at the European championships held in Winterberg, Germany.

According to Mediafax, Andreea Grecu and Erika Halay won the third place with a time of 1:55:56. The second place was secured by Kohler and Fritz from Germany and the first place by McNeill and Douglas from Great Britain.

The fourth place was also taken by a Romanian team- Maria Constantin and Olivi Vild. Their time was 1:55:60.

 

Another Romanian team that participated in the competition was formed by Daniela Gheaus and Teodora Vlad with a time of 1:58:52.

10 teams participated in this international competition, including teams from Germany, Russia, and Switzerland.

Another female group will participate this weekend at the Junior Bobsled World championship in Winterberg.

Another important bobsled competition will be held in Vatra Dornei, Romania on February 2-5. Over 20 countries are expected to participate.
