The Autovortex team has just won the FTC Russia competition today. The team, that has competed with the Opossum and Felix robots, is formed by Ducu Andrei, Edi Diaconescu, Rares Badici, Diana Zlotea, Ion Rares and Andrei Preda and coordinated by professor doctor Ionut Panea.
The team has also won the gold medal at the South Korean FTC competition last week. They have been the only foreign team invited to the national competition.
The team has won several other competitions in Germany, Netherlands and France and this year they will participate in the World championship. Autovortex have already started a pilot program with a group of children from Racari and they will participate in another competition in Germany. They are also hoping to create several robotic centers in cities across Romania.
