Cristian Ciocan defends his European heavyweight title

Boxer Cristian Ciocan has managed to keep his European champion title after beating British David Price.

Ciocan, 29 years old has defeated David Price,33, by KO,  after seven rounds in a Gala competition in London. After the seventh round the referee stopped the fight because the British boxer was not able to continue the match.

So far, Ciocan, who is from Galati has never lost since 2015, when he was beaten by Tyson Fury in London. Ciocan has had overall 21 victories and four defeats by KO. The Romanian boxer has previously won the WBO European heavyweight title in October 2016  after he beat Erkan Teper from Turkey. The boxer has beaten Erkan Teper after 12 rounds in Hamburg, Germany. Ciocan has had this title also in 2012 and 2013.
