I am overwhelmed. I was sure in 2015 that I will win the title, but I did not expect it this year. I had high hopes, because I was nominated, but this year I am really overwhelmed. I think I am the only handball player in the history of handball to ever win this trophy three times. I would like to thank everyone who voted for me, those who put faith in everything I do on the field.
Neagu has obtained 37,14 percent of votes beating Nora Mork from Norway. Neagu will return next season to CSM Bucharest after playing for ZRK Buducnost in Montenegro. She has managed to win Championships League with Buducnost.
