Catalina Ponor wins two gold medals at the Baku World Cup


Catalina Ponor has won on Sunday two gold medals at the Baku World Cup. She is the only gymnast who represents Romania.

Catalina has won the balance beam and floor competitions.

She has received 13,433 points for the floor and 13,833 for the balance beam. Other Romanian gymnasts did not qualify- Anamaria Ocolisan, Andrei Ursache, Laurentiu Nistor, Adelin Kotrong, Vlad Cotuna and Cristian Bataga. 120 gymnasts from 21 countries participate in the World Cup in Baku.

Catalina Ponor has managed to win five medal Olympics in all her career which means she is in the top 25 most awarded gymnasts in the history of the Olympic Games.
