90-year-old Elena Pagu wins the World Championship for Marching in South Korea

Elena Pagu has won the World Championship for Marching in South Korea. Elena Pagu is 90 years old and she has won the medal for marching for 3,000 meters in her age category. She has also broken a World Record. She is the oldest participant that has managed to finish such a race.

Elena Pagu has overall won 8 World Championships titles- 5 European ones and 4 Balkan.

According to Digi24 she said that this was one of the hardest competitions in her life. The problem was that she needed to get used to the jet lag. As well, she was the oldest competitor. Other competitors close to her age, were younger with 15 years.
