A fireman from Cluj-Napoca gave first aid to a man involved in a car accident. The fireman was on his day off, however, he decided to help the wounded man. Because he did not have any medical instruments, the fireman improvised.
The man suffered from open fractures and thoracic traumatism. The fireman used his own shoelace as a tourniquet and helped the victim stay in a safe position.
According to vocea.biz Urzica Ioan, who works for the Firemen department of Cluj-Napoca has helped the man before the emergency ambulance arrived.
