Romanians were awarded 35 gold medals, 8 silver medals and 27 special distinctions at the International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva 2017.
The exhibition took place between March 29-April 2nd and it is considered one of the most prestigious events in the field of inventions.
40 inventions were selected by the Research and Innovation Ministry in Romania to be presented at the exhibit. 8 Romanian inventions were presented independently. The independent presentations have managed to win 3 gold medals and 2 silver medals.
Over 2,000 inventions from 40 countries were presented this year. The inventions were represented by companies, universities, state organizations and private researchers.
