Romania Day Festival to open this weekend on Broadway, New York!

The eighteenth edition of the Romania Day Festival takes place this weekend in the Financial district of New York city. The festival opens on May 14, at 10.00 a.m. and closes at 5.00 p.m.

The festival has had many personalities as guests over the years: H.E. Dr. Ion Jinga – Romanian Ambassador to the United Nations, Honorable Ioana Costache, Romanian Consul General in New York, Mr. Liviu Jicman, vice president of the Romanian Cultural Institute, New York City and Professor Robert Engle, Nobel laureate for Economy. The festival brings together Romanian and Romanian-American artists who perform on stage traditional music and folk music. Visitors are also able to purchase traditional products and enjoy a fashion show inspired by Romanian traditional clothing.

Every year, over 20,000 people participate in the festival.

The Awards Ceremony for: The Best Romanian American Business Person and The Most Valuable RABC Member.
