The Universal Day of the Romanian Blouse was celebrated in Romania and in many countries around the world thanks to Romanian communities. In Canada, the Universal Day of the Traditional Blouse was also recognized by Canada’s prime minister, Justin Trudeau.
The prime minister praised the Associations of Moldovans who live in the Otawwa-Gatineau area who worked hard in order for the Universal Day of the Blouse to be recognized. He has also prasied the association for “preserving and promoting their culture and heritage.”
The day was celebrated in Canada with special workshops where children could create their own ia.
