The lovely Romanian girl Eva Garet has won the first place at the Ricard Vines International Piano competition in Lleda, Spain. The 10 year old girl has won in her own category, which is 11 years old. Other competitiors such as Martim Coimbra from Portugal and Yujin Kim from South Korea have won awards.
Eva Garet is currently a student at the George Enescu National Music college. She is tutored by professor Mihaela Zamfirescu. Eva is only 10 years old and she has already won several competitions such as the Gold Lira trophy in Suceava in 2016, first prize at the Pro Piano, Milennium Piano, Ada ulubeanu, Victor Giuleanu and Young Talents competitions. She has also won the second place at the Jeunesses International Music competition in 2016 and she has performed on many stages, such as the George Enescu Festival Square, Arcus cultural centre and the Remember Enescu Foundation cultural shows.
