Romanian-Japanese student Tamio Vesa Nakajima has won the gold medal at the Informatics Olympiad of Central Europe which was organized in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
The student has competed for four days, two days were dedicated to computer configuration and two days were dedicated to solving algorithm problems.
The young man who currently lives in Beius has just graduated from a Romanian highschool this year. He has graduated the highschool successfully, earning only grades of 10. After winning the gold medal, the young man is preparing for the International Olympiad for Informatics in Teheran, Iran. His mother is Romanian and his father is a Japanese IT engineer.
Tamio will continue his studies this year to Oxford University.
