A Romanian student who has graduated from Kent School of Architecture has received an award from the Royal Institute of British Architects, an institution that represents 700 architects in Kent county.
The student, who is originally from Roman town, Romania has received the award entitled Diploma Prize by RIBA Kent Branches. This award honors the talent of architecture students. The award was given for his design project entitled Heterotopia Unlimited, which is a design for a housing project in the Elephant and Castle area in South East of London. This is a high-density and built to rent scheme in which neighbors share roof terraces and courtyards. The design incorporates water recycling. Alexandru Cristian Marinescu, who is currently 26 years old has received a certificate and also a cheque for 200 pounds.
