Romania wins gold and silver medals at the World Mountain Running Championships

Romanians have taken the gold and silver medals at the World Mountain Running Championships in Premana Italy.

The Romanian Junior Women team which is formed by Alesia Hecico, Gabriela Doroftei, Irina Bordeianu and Iulia Zudor has won the gold medal. They have managed to beat the American team, which won the silver medal and the Italian team, which won the bronze medal.

The British team ended up on the fourth place.

The Romanian male team has secured the silver medal. The team, formed of Dorin Rusu, Gabriel Bularda, Adrian Garcea and Peter Herman has managed to beat Uganda and Italy.

35 teams from different countries have participated in this competition.
