Dr. Ioan Cantacuzino hospital in Bucharest has received a 400,000 euro donation from a Romanian woman. According to the hospital representatives, the hospital has a new surgery room thanks to an Romanian living in the UK.
One of the surgery rooms of the hospital was completely renovated thanks to Sanda Carciog-Rizescu, a lady living in the UK for over 30 years. Thanks to the donation, the neonatology section of the hospital also received an improvement, as they have managed to buy another six medical equipments that will care for new borns.
The hospital will renovate another three surgery rooms this year with the help of the local council.
