Romania has won its first medal at the Invictus games in Toronto.
Laurentiu Serban has won the bronze medals at the 1500 metres competition. Laurentiu Serban is the capten of the Invictus Romania team. He was wounded in Afganistan in 2006 while he was helping his colleagues go out of a car. He was hurt by an explosive device.
15 soldiers are currently participating for Romania in the Invictus games. The Romanian team is participating in six categories-archery, athletics, Kanoe, weightlifting, cyclying and swimming.
