Romania has won two gold medals and three bronze medals at the European Championships of Aerobics.
The competition was held this year in Ancona, Italy. Romanians have won two medals in the trio category- gold for Romania 2 for Andreea Bgati, Marian Brotei and Gabriel Bocser who got 22,472 points and bronze for Romania 1 for Lucian Stefan Savulescu, Lavinia Ioana Panaete and Dacian Nicolae Barna with 22,244 points.
In the group category Romania has won the gold medal, beating Russia and Hungary. The team was formed of Lucian Stefan Savulesccu, Dacian Nicolae Barna, Andreea Bogati, Marian Brotei and Gabriel Bocser.
In the aero dance category the team formed of Lavinia Ioana Panaete, Steliana Stoenescu, Bianca Maria Gorgovan, Ioana Andreea Darie, Constantina Cioveie, Denisa Ganea, Cristina Nedelcu, Maria Bianca Becze has won the bronze medal. They were beaten by Russia who received 18,400 points.
In the couples category Dacian Bran and Andreea Bogati has won the bronze medal. They were beaten by Sara Moreno and Vicente Lli from Spain and Daniel Bali and Dora Hegyi from Hungary.
In the juniors category, the group section, Romania won the gold medal thanks to Isabela Dumitrascu,Francesca Morar, Zsofia Meszar, Sandra Dincă, Lorena Jinga, a bronze medal at the individual male section thanks to David Gavrilovici and another bronze medal at the mixed pairs thanks to David Gavrilovici and Sarmiza Niculescu.
