Violonist Alexandru Tomescu will perform for a charitable concert in order to raise money for the Heart Institute in Cluj.
Alexandru Tomescu will perform with his Stradivarius Elder-Voicu 1702 violin. The concert will take place on Friday and everyone who loves classical music and wants to help the Heart Institute.
The Institute is celebrating 15 years since it was created and the organizers are raising money for new medical devices. The director of the institute said that our country does not have a special centre in which young surgeons can be trained. Thanks to this concert, the organizers are also hoping to raise money to get new instruments for minimum invasive surgery and for a thorascopy device. According to agerpres these would cost around 120,000 euros.
