Sting awarded with golden disc in Romania

Sting has been awarded a golden disc by Universal Music Romania for his sales on his solo album 57th and 97th in Romania.

The English singer has received the disc on October 17 before performing in Cluj-Napoca where 10,000 people have attended.  The show in Cluj-Napoca has ended Sting’s tour called 57th and 9th tour which started last year in November in the US. The album was released on November 11, 2016.

Sting is a living legend. He was born in the UK and performed for many years as the lead singer of Police. The music band has released five albums and won many Grammy and Brit awards and they were also included in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003.

Sting has also won many awards, such as ten Grammy awards, an Emmy and four Oscar nominations.
