Study shows that Romanians are among the best English speakers in the world

According to an international map created by Education first, Romania is one of the few countries where English not only is well understood but also spoken.

Romania has managed to beat countries such as Greece, Italy, Spain and France. Romania is the 16th best in Europe for English proficiency and the 20th in the world. Top 20 world ranking :

The study has shown that English is best spoken by people aged 18-25. As well, women were better English speakers than men. The countries with the lowest scores were Oman, Cambodia, Laos Libia and Irak.
