Bitdefender to move production from China to Romania

Bitdefender, the famous IT company has decided to move some of its production to Satu Mare from China.

The company said that they are moving Bitdefender BOX, which is a security solution that includes hardware, cloud and software. This device was created to protect internet-connected products that people have around the house.

Florin Talpes, the CEO of the IT security solutions said that he has been dreaming about doing things like this in Romania. He noted that this has been a personal ambition to show that we can do good things here. The system is entirely designed by Bitdefender in Romania. According to Florin Talpes, two years ago there were no conditions for production in Romania, but things have changed now. The costs of producing the system are higher than China, however.
