Over 1,000 children plant 10,000 trees in Ploiesti

A plantation project has taken place this weekend in Ploiesti. On Saturday, the Ploiesti Shopping City commercial centre has organized a planting activity through which they are trying to improve the green area and also to involve the young generation in improving the environment.

Therefore, over 1,000 children have planted 10,000 trees in one day since morning to evening. Children have planted on a 2,000 metre square surface trees such as oak, acacia, and linden. During the year children will visit the area and will observe how tree evolve. The trees will also be maintained and cared for by students.
